This Sunday afternoon please join us for a friendly self-guided tour of sustainable gardens, yards and landscape locations in the neighborhoods of Arlington Heights, IL.

The in-person tour will begin at noon on Sunday, September 18 and go to 3pm.

Hosts will be on hand at several sites to talk about their yard and gardens and to share tips and stories. This is a neighbor-to-neighbor sort of thing, a chance to compare notes and learn from folks doing all sorts of things, such as:

Rain barrels and rain gardens

Natural prep for the Fall

Front and backyard wildlife habitats

Organic and raised bed vegetable gardening

Composting with greens, worms, bokashi - and more!

The virtual tour map will include other local sustainability homes, gardens and green landscape sites to check out along the way.
